The 2022 Whyte Stirling V2 Hybrid Bike in Matt Moss Rose is designed as a fast and durable city bike. It comes with a simple 1x drivetrain and is capable of taking mudguards and being a super-reliable, daily use city bike.
Whyte are best know for their award winning UK designed mountain bikes and they have taken all their design know-how and applied to making hybrid bikes. The Stirling has a long wheelbase and relaxed head angle for high speed stability, and a shorter stem for excellent slow speed manoeuvrability. Whyte have added extra features to the frame to make it work better for commuters. A custom rear dropout allows the rear hydraulic disc brake caliper to be mounted inside the rear triangle which makes it easy to fit racks or mudguards and the chain stay also features kickstand mount.
Wide 37c tyres on 23mm rims give the Stirling both speed and comfort from the toughest urban commute to an open road adventure. Simple and reliable 1x11 speed gearing gives you enough gears to get around town. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes make the bike easy to use and maintain in all weathers.
