Most systems will require you to plug your bike into some specialist software at an authorised dealer. At Cycles UK we are authorised dealers for top electric bike brands including Specialized, Trek, Orbea, Whyte, Cannondale and Raleigh. As a result our stores have the software and hardware to run updates on all the major electric bike systems including Bosch, Shimano and Ebikemotion.

Electric Bike Diagnostics

If you are having problems with your electric bike we can plug it into diagnostics software, just as you would with a modern car. Running the diagnostics will tell us if an update is needed and alert us to any issues. This can cut out hours off trying to track down faults manually. As with the updates, if you have bought your bike from Cycles UK we will run the diagnostics for you for free.

We now provide free updates and diagnostics for life on any electric bike purchased from Cycles UK. This is to keep your bike running smoothly and to make sure you get the maximum enjoyment from it. If you did not buy your electric bike from Cycles UK we can still run updates and diagnostics for you. The typical charge for this is £30.

Our workshops can get extremely busy so it’s always a good idea to get your bike booked in advance for updates or diagnostics. Just contact your local Cycles UK store.
