2020 Cannondale SuperSix Evo

If you follow the cycling press you may already have seen some spy shots of the new 2020 Cannondale SuperSix Evo being used by the EF pro team. Cannondale have now officially launched the bike to the public.

The new 2020 SuperSix EVO is an evolution of Cannondale’s classic race machine, adding more aero profiling, and a system integrated design to reduce drag.

The SuperSix EVO has always been the bike Cannondale’s pro team reserve for big mountain days. It works well for anywhere with lots of hills or for riders who want a pure classic lightweight bike. The newest version is still super light (19 grams lighter than the previous EVO on a 56cm disc brake Hi-MOD frameset with seat post) but with the new aero attitude it will also save you 30watts at 30 mph (48.3 km/h).

Cannondale have also softened the SuperSix slightly for 2020. It now has clearance for tyres up to 28mm on the rim brake versions and 30mm on the disc brake models. They have also raised the stack height slightly and introduced more SAVE micro-suspension to soak up more bumps and vibrations. This is still very much a fast road bike but one that’s slightly easier to live with on long training rides.
