GT was founded in 1979 by Gary Turner. GT is still one of the big names in the cycling industry today. Here is the 2019 GT Bikes Explained. Many of the names in the GT mountain bike range have been around since the beginnings of the sport. Older mountain bikers will know names like the Zaskar and Karakoram. Zaskar
The Zaskar has been GT’s top-end hardtail mountain bike for years. It's signature triple triangle frame design and competition specs, it’s no wonder the bike has pro rider heritage. The Zaskar comes in three different builds, the aluminium comp, carbon comp and carbon elite, each with varying specs and price. With a bike that has won world cups in cross country, downhill, slalom and trails. You can be sure that it can handle anything you throw at it.
Aggressor
The Aggressor is a versatile workhorse mountain bike. With capable handling and reliable components. The Aggressor comes in at the lower entry-level price of hardtail mountain bikes, even in its top-spec! The Aggressor comes in 3 different builds, Sport, Comp and Expert ranging in price and spec. Mountain trails or around town, there isn’t much this bike can’t do.
Avalanche
The little brother to the Zaskar, The Avalanche is rich in heritage and features. With similar geometry to the Zaskar on a modern high-end Aluminium frame. This bike will make you rethink what a hardtail can do. The Avalanche comes in 4 different builds, Sport, Comp, Elite and Expert. All benefit from carefully chosen parts and value for money.
Palomar
If you are looking for a no-nonsense mountain bike with the diversity and comfort of a hybrid. Then the Palomar is for you. Suitable for new or smaller riders. The Palomars 27.5 inch wheels provide a confident ride whilst still being easy to handle and capable both on or off-road.
Force
The Force is a 27.5 inch, 150mm travel, full-suspension trail bike designed for good times on rowdy terrain. Whether you are shredding the trails with your mates or competing in an enduro. Sensor
The Sensor is a 29 inch, 130mm travel, full-suspension trail bike capable on technical terrain and cross country tracks. Whatever you are riding you’ll be riding it fast. The Sensor comes in 4 different builds, the Sport and Comp in aluminium and the Elite and Expert in carbon.
Sanction
GTs gravity inspired enduro bike has one thing in mind. Get to the bottom of the hill, fast. Does fast mean fun? You bet it does. With a weight saving tube set inspired by the Fury's design and 165mm of travel, the Sanction is a winning recipe. It comes in 3 different aluminium frame builds, the Comp, Elite and Expert.
Verb
The Verb is an entry-level short travel full suspension bike. It benefits from a full suspension, trail set up, without breaking the bank. The Verb is for riders who don't want to compromise the agility and climbing ability of a hardtail. But want to enjoy the traction and playful ride a full-suspension bike has. 120mm forks and progressive geometry give a confident ride suitable for beginners and seasoned riders alike. There are 2 builds, the Comp and Elite and with the Comp coming in under £1000 they really are great value for money.
GTR
The GTR is a rugged, do it all road bike built for whatever the roads can throw at you. Whether you want to cruise in comfort or blast around your not so smooth winter training route. The GTR is sure to put a smile on your face wherever you ride it. The lightweight alloy frame, 28c tyres on wide rims and carbon forks make for a confident and comfortable ride without compromising performance. It comes in 3 different builds, Sport, Comp and Elite.
Grade
Much like the GTR, the Grade is a rugged road bike that can handle the roughest of roads and gravel tracks. With its 32c tyres and bombproof frame design it is even more capable of handling everything you can throw its way. The Grade also comes in carbon, which helps absorb the bumps. The models are Comp and Expert in aluminium and Elite and Expert in carbon. The Grade knows no bounds.

The Transeo is GTs flagship hybrid bike. Coming in a wide range of builds, the bike is perfect for a huge number of uses, like fitness, commuting and leisure. The Transeo also comes in a women’s low step frame.
Laguna
