The 2021 Cannondale Trail 5 Womens Hardtail Mountain Bike in Lavender is a great value mountain bike which comes with features like a 1x drivetrain, normally only found on much more expensive bikes. With beautifully crafted frames, progressive geometry and dirt ready components Cannondale Trail hardtails are built to take your riding to the next level. From your first off-road ride to trail centres and multi-day trips, the Cannondale Trail can handle it.
Cannondale made their name with aluminium bike frames, and the Trail comes with decades of experience and craftsmanship built-in. The Trail 4 to 8 use a SmartForm C3 frame with standard wheel spacing and quick releases. The Trail 1 to 3 uses a higher quality SmartForm C2 frame with Boost spacing to support bigger tyres and improve the overall stiffness of the bike. All of the Trail bikes use the same geometry which gives you short chainstays for extra agility and traction and a slack head angle for stable handling on steep technical terrain.
All of the Cannondale Trails come with 29" wheels on the Medium, Large and X-Large size bikes and 27.5" wheels on the XSmall and Small size bikes.
The trail 5 comes with a 1x10 speed MicroShift groupset and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. WTB tyres and rims give loads of grip for off-road riding.
