Ex-Display Specialized Turbo Creo SL Comp Carbon Electric Road Bike size Large redefines e-road bike performance. It's lightweight, smooth, capable, and lively—all with the power to flatten mountains, laugh at headwinds, and go farther than you ever thought possible.
Specialized have a long history of developing the world's highest performing road bikes including the Tarmac, Venge, Roubaix, Allez and Diverge. The Turbo Creo SL is the latest addition to the range. The Creo SL is the lightest e-bike in its class, literally kilograms lighter than the competition. It is built around a Fact 11r carbon frame, the same one on the top of the range S-Works model.
The Turbo Creo SL comes with the Future Shock 2.0 which offers a small amount of front suspension. You'll feel a reduction in fatigue and an increase in speed, no matter the terrain. The 2.0 iteration gives you more control via a knob atop the stem. This knob adjusts compression from fully-open to stiff, while hydraulically-damped internals control rebound. The new Smooth Boot, top cap, and Future Stem also enhance the aesthetic, so you get a clean transition from head tube to stem.
The lightweight SL 1.1 motor doubles your effort with as much as 240 watts of silent and powerful assistance to amplify your ride. The motor’s responsive torque curve delivers power perfectly in-tune with your normal riding cadence and leaves no resistance when riding unassisted. With up to 80 miles of range from the internal battery, the Creo SL eats up big miles and long days. An optional range extender is available which provides up to 40 additional miles of mountain-flattening power.
The Turbo Creo SL E5 Comp carbon comes with virtually the same equipment as the E5 aluminium version. This includes a 1x Shimano GRX group set to take on shifting and braking duties, while DT R470 Boost wheels get wrapped in 28mm Turbo Pro tyres to keep you rolling worry-free. And for the saddle, you'll find that our fan-favourite Body Geometry Power Sport provides plenty of comfort.

What is Specialized Mission Control?
Mission Control is a free app created by Specialized to work with their Turbo electric bikes. The app is exclusive to Specialized and unlocks a lot of features which you can’t get on other electric bike systems. Specialized recommend that everyone who has one of their electric bikes should pair it to Mission Control.
Mission control has been around for a few years and has gradually been evolving and improving. It covers four main areas:
- Track your rides – record speed, distance, maps etc
- Tune your ride – adjust max power, acceleration and other settings
- Manage your ride – make sure you don’t run out of power
- Fix your ride – get notified of errors and access diagnostics, including suggested fixes

Electric Bike Hub Motors vs Mid-Drive Motors
Electric bikes tend to either come with a hub motor or a mid-drive motor. Mid-drive motors sit where the cranks and bottom bracket are on a bike and drive the cranks and chain around. Hub drive motors sit in the middle of the wheel and drive the wheel directly. Hub drive electric bikes are cheaper but less efficient, and less smooth, to ride.
