The 2022 Raleigh Motus Tour Hub Gear Low Step Electric Bike in Red gives you everything you want from an electric hybrid bike, and does so in style. With a near silent Bosch motor providing up to 250% of your pedal power, you can race up hills. The integrated battery keeps everything looking sleek and secure, while still being easy to charge when needed. Hub gears enable you to shift while standing still. and require very little maintenance. They are known for their practicality and durability in all conditions.
A super-lightweight Bosch motor adds power to your pedalling, with a near-noiseless design allowing you to ride in complete, uninterrupted peace. The newly re-designed Active Line motor is 25% smaller than its predecessor, weighs in at only 2.9kgs and is almost completely noise-free so you can get the maximum enjoyment out of your journeys. With an energy output of up to 250% of your pedal power. A Intuvia display lets you switch between four different modes, so you can put in as much (or as little) effort as you fancy. The 400WH battery will allow you to ride for up to 80 miles on a single charge.
The Motus Tour comes equipped with powerful disc brakes, reflective tyres, a bell, a secure wheel lock, and an adjustable handlebar stem. A comfy suspension saddle and integrated lights guarantee a smooth, safe ride, no matter what time it is. The Shimano 7 speed internal hub gear is easy to use and will perform in all weathers.

Electric Bike Hub Motors vs Mid-Drive Motors
Electric bikes tend to either come with a hub motor or a mid-drive motor. Mid-drive motors sit where the cranks and bottom bracket are on a bike and drive the cranks and chain around. Hub drive motors sit in the middle of the wheel and drive the wheel directly. Hub drive electric bikes are cheaper but less efficient, and less smooth, to ride.
