The Clarks Avid/SRAM Elite Semi-Metallic Disc Brake Pads are VRS pads which are specifically engineered for competition riding. With an advanced pad compound comprising of, Kevlar for high frictional properties, high ceramic content for improved wet weather performance and a increased copper content for superior low speed breaking characteristics. In addition a ‘grooved’ backing plate improves the airflow between the piston and the pad, keeping the brake system cooler and performance consistent.These pads are compatible with Avid X0, Elixir 7 Trail, Elixir 9 Trail and SRAM Guide brake systems.
