Whyte bikes are designed in the UK and take a very UK focussed approach to bikes. That means plenty of thinking about mud clearance, dealing with lumpy roads and making bikes that will thrive in the wettest UK winters. Whyte made their name with cutting edge full-suspension mountain bikes and they regularly still win awards for them. In recent years they have developed a range of long travel hardtails including the bike awarded the best hardtail ever made. Not satisfied Whyte also make award-winning UK focussed road and hybrid bikes. Whyte does make race bikes but most of their bikes are designed for UK cyclists who just like to ride.
