The Tifosi Amoke Race Neon Fototec Smoke Sunglasses use the Tifosi photochromic lenses to react to different light conditions. In bright sunlight, the lens particles react to UV rays, darkening the optics and ensuring additional glare protection. The Fototec Smoke lenses fitted to the Amoke glasses are a good middle ground lens for road cycling and general use.

The Fototec Smoke Amok glasses allow 15.2% light transmission in bright light and 47.8% light transmission in low light conditions, compared to 10 –  25% and 30- 75% in the rest of the Tifosi range. This puts the Fototec Smoke version of the Amok firmly in the middle ground, taking the worst of the glare in bright light but still letting plenty in when it clouds over, handy for the changeable British weather.

The Amok glasses are a dynamic full-frame design suited to both road cycling and mountain biking. Larger lenses ensure that frame edges do not obscure vision, while also blocking more wind and letting less light sneak around the frames.

The Amok’s arms are also double-injection moulded - the Grilamid is injected first, the hydrophilic rubber then injected, and this fuses with the Grilamid for a seamless construction – making the arms extremely durable but allowing for greater flex for optimum comfort without compromising grip. The Amok also includes an adjustable nosepiece.
