The 2024 Specialized Rockhopper Hardtail Mountain Bike is the base model in the Rockhopper range and comes in at a bargain price. The Rockhopper has long been our go-to entry level mountain bike and loads of Cycles UK staff have started their mountain bike journey on these bikes.
With the new 2024 bike you get a lightweight yet durable Premium A1 Aluminium, the Rockhopper’s butted aluminium frame features hydroformed top and downtubes in order to keep weight low and strength high, all while providing increased standover clearance, slick internal cable routing and dropper-post compatibility. The bike is available with either 27.5 or 29 wheels depending on the size.
The Rockhopper base comes with an Rx Tuned, lockout-equipped SR Suntour XCM suspension fork with custom Multi-Circuit damping. The reliable and crisp Shimano drivetrain provides a robust 2x9 drivetrain that can handle everything you're throw down while confident braking from Shimano hydraulic disc brakes seals the deal of the century.
