The 2026 Specialized Rockhopper Comp Hardtail Mountain Bike comes with some seriously capable kit so you can focus on your rides. If you are looking to upgrade your old mountain bike the Rockhopper Comp is a great option.

The heart of the Rockhopper is a lightweight yet durable Premium A1 Aluminium frame. It uses hydroformed top and downtubes in order to keep weight low and strength high, all while providing increased standover clearance, slick internal cable routing and dropper-post compatibility. The smaller sizes of the Rockhopper use 27.5" wheels while the larger bikes have 29" wheels. The result is a Rockhopper to fit every rider and the assurance that every Rockhopper is rolling on the best-handling wheel for its frame size.

The Rockhopper Comp comes with a RockShox Judy Solo Air fork with damper adjustment so you can tune the ride. The 1x 12 speed Shimano Deore gearing is often found on bikes twice the price and the bombproof Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic brakes are known for their reliability. Tubeless ready rims make for an easy upgrade path.

This bike is perfect for

Mountain bikers on a budget who want great equipment without breaking the bank. The size specific fit means everyone should have a great riding experience.

Who are Specialized?

Specialized is one of the best-known quality bike brands in the world. Started by a group of riders in 1974. A fact which has guided their decision making ever since.

" Made for riders, by riders."

They strove to make the best quality tires when quality tyres weren't around. When people wanted to ride cruisers in the dirt, they made the first production mountain bike. When roadies wanted to go faster, Specialized doubled down on carbon and built their own wind tunnel.

Bikes like the Allez, Rockhopper and Stumpjumper have developed followings and reputations of their own. Specialized has a reputation for making high-end, high-quality bikes. Specialized bikes always look great with high-quality paint and sensible sizing hel0s you get the right bike each time. If you buy a Specialized bike you can be guaranteed it will do what it is supposed to and will last.
