The 2022 Onna 27 XS Junior 50 Mountain Bike is a scaled down version of the adult Onna mountain bike. It uses the same technology but is sized to suit rider from 145cm to 160cm tall.
The Onna range is designed to kickstart a lifetime of mountain biking. The Onna’s geometry maximizes efficiency and control so it’s perfect for any rider who is learning to love MTB.
The Onna is built around an advanced aluminium frame with shaped tubes to fine tune the ride quality. Stiff enough to be fast and responsive, compliant enough to be comfortable and controlled. A tapered headtube and fork steerer put strength and rigidity where they’re needed while trimming weight with alloy steerer tubes and offering a wider selection of quality forks and there’s plenty of room for wide mountain bike tyres for comfort, grip and mud clearance. Onna is fully compatible with internally routed 27.2mm dropper posts, so you will be ready for whatever trails the future holds. This gives an easy path to upgrades as you progress.
The Onna 27 XS Junior 50 comes in just one frame size and only comes with 27.5” wheels. A 100mm travel SR Suntour XCE 28 Coil fork handles things up from while a 2x8 speed Shimano drivetrain and Shimano MT200 hydraulic brakes give reliable performance.

Who are Orbea?
Orbea pronounced Or-bay-ah is named after the brothers who founded the company in 1840. Initially, the company manufactured rifles and guns. The company has been making bikes since the early 1930s and winning Tour de France stages for just as long. All Orbea Bikes are assembled at the Orbea Factory based in the heart of the Basque country in Northern Spain or in their facility in Portugal.
Orbea does things a little differently from many of the big American bike brands. As the heart of Orbea's manufacturing is still in Spain and Portugal Orbea can offer much more customised service. This includes the ability to swap out colours and parts on most of their higher-end bikes to suit individual customers through their MyO program.
Although best known for their road bikes Orbea are increasingly making a name for themselves as a mountain bike brand.
