The 2022 Whyte Carnaby V3 Hybrid Bike in Matt Diesel Light Blue is classed by Whyte as a fast urban commuter and is designed as a super-reliable, daily use city bike.
The Carnaby’s frame is based on Whyte’s high performance mountain bike geometry. It has a long wheelbase and relaxed head angle for high speed stability, and a shorter stem for excellent slow speed manoeuvrability. Whyte have added extra features to the frame to make it work better for commuters. A custom rear dropout allows the rear hydraulic disc brake caliper to be mounted inside the rear triangle which makes it easy to fit racks or mudguards and the chain stay also features kickstand mount.
Wide 37c tyres on 23mm rims give the Carnaby both speed and comfort from the toughest urban commute to an open road adventure. The simple and reliable 1 x 9 speed Shimano gearing and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes make the bike easy to use and maintain in all weathers.
