The 2026 Trek FX 3 Stepover Gen 4 Hybrid Bike is a versatile hybrid bike that's primed for performance, comfort and utility. It's a commuting pro if you want it to be, or the perfect fitness companion on road and hard packed trails.
The Trek FX 3 is built around a lightweight Alpha Gold Aluminium frame and comes with a lightweight carbon fibre fork. The riding position on the FX bikes is sporty enough for you to keep up speed while still being upright enough to give you good visibility in traffic. With road wheels and 35c tyres the FX bikes are most at home on tarmac, but can handle some hard packed gravel tracks and paths as well.
As well as being lighter the carbon fork fitted to the FX 3 helps to absorb vibrations. Plus, you get vibration-absorbing handlebars with ergonomic grips for more comfort on every ride. The simple 1x10 gearing makes the bike easy to use and maintain while still giving plenty of range for hills.
