The 2026 Trek FX 1 Stepover Gen 4 Hybrid Bike is a versatile and sleek hybrid bike for riding all around town. It's perfect to ride for exercise, commuting or fun. The FX 1 is the entry level bike in the Trek hybrid range. You get price-conscious parts that still deliver a big range of speeds and loads of mounts for accessories.
The Trek FX 1 is built around a lightweight Alpha Gold Aluminium frame and comes with a steel fork. The riding position on the FX bikes is sporty enough for you to keep up speed while still being upright enough to give you good visibility in traffic. With road wheels and 35c tyres the FX bikes are most at home on tarmac, but can handle some hard packed gravel tracks and paths as well.
The FX 1 comes with mechanical disc brakes for simple all-weather stopping power. A Shimano drivetrain with eight speeds, so you're never pedalling too hard or too softly, and mounts that make it easy to accessorise your ride with racks and mudguards.
