The 2025 Whyte Kado RS Full Suspension Electric Mountain Bike is the middle bike in the Kado range. The Kado RS comes with a bigger battery for more range.
Whyte have used their award winning design expertise to give you the best handling and ride performance possible. An optimised low centre of gravity gives exceptional cornering agility and balanced handling on any terrain. Custom-tuned suspension gives the very best grip, feedback and control.
Quieter and lighter than ever, the fifth generation Performance Line CX motor gives you Bosch’s most refined, reliable and efficient motor performance. All tuneable to your tastes using the Bosch eBike Flow app. With an 800Wh internal battery as standard and compatibility with Bosch’s aftermarket 250Wh ‘PowerMore’ range extender (available separately; fits size M–XL frames), Kado RS is ready to give you up to a 1050Wh of combined battery capacity.
As the middle bike in the range the Kado RS comes with reliable tried and tested parts. A 160mm travel RockShox ZEB Select fork handles things up front while a RockShox Deluxe Select R shock handles suspension at the back. SRAM Eagle gearing and SRAM DB8 Stealth brakes give trail taming performance.

A couple of bike manufacturers, most notably Specialized, are making their own electric bike motors. The vast majority of bike companies are using the same motors. So, you will find exactly the same electric motor being used on bikes from different brands and at different price points. Electric Bike Hub Motors vs Mid-Drive Motors
Electric bikes tend to either come with a hub motor or a mid-drive motor. Mid-drive motors sit where the cranks and bottom bracket are on a bike and drive the cranks and chain around. Hub drive motors sit in the middle of the wheel and drive the wheel directly. Hub drive electric bikes are cheaper but less efficient, and less smooth, to ride.
