The 2026 Specialized Crux DSW Comp Gravel Bike is more than the lightest alloy gravel bike ever made. It's also capable, nimble, balanced, and responsive for fast, fun, high-performance riding.
D’Aluisio Smartweld - or DSW - is a patented engineering process that uses hydroforming to precisely match tube-to-tube joints for better, stronger welds and, ultimately, a lighter frame that can be twice as durable as a traditional alloy frame. Specialized's Smartweld technique helps create a unique single-piece downtube and bottom bracket for the Crux, shaving weight and amplifying responsiveness.
Responsive at the pedals. Supple in the saddle. Specialized have used D’Aluisio Smartweld to fine-tune the properties of alloy to deliver a ride previously impossible without carbon and combine it with the same performance gravel geometry and race-influenced fit as the carbon Crux. A longer reach delivers better weight distribution for quick, confident handling, while a lower stack creates a performance first position. At 72mm of bottom-bracket drop, it hits the sweet spot between nimble and stable.

If you don't live in our local hand delivery area we can still do a fully built and ready to ride hand delivery to most of England and Wales through our specialist bike logistics partners. As with our local delivery service the bike will come fully built with no packaging. This service is £50 to £75 for bikes under £1500 and free on bikes over £1500 depending on your area.
