The 2022 Whyte Malvern Womens V3 Hybrid Bike in Matt Diesel is a hybrid bike that’s designed to be light, lively and enjoyable to ride. Whyte class this as an ‘all terrain leisure’ bike so the Malvern can handle tracks and paths as well as roads, giving you more room to explore away from traffic. The women’s version comes with a dropped top tube to make the bike easier to get on and off.
The Malvern uses a lightweight aluminium frame which makes the bike quicker and saves some effort while large volume, low pressure tyres take whatever route you decide to take in your stride. The Malvern comes with a short travel (63mm) suspension fork to soak up the bumps when you need it, but it also has a lockout so you can turn the fork off for longer road sections.
The Malvern comes with some nice upgrades over the Whyte Ridgeway including a mountain bike style simple 1x10 speed drivetrain that still has enough gears to get you up the steepest hills.
