Cycle to Work - Cycle Plus Vouchers

Cycles UK accepts Cycles to Work: Cycle Plus vouchers in our stores and online. The Cycle Plus voucher scheme is part of the Sodexo Employee Benefits program, which many companies, local councils, and other organisations use. The scheme uses quite a few different names but is commonly known as Cycle Plus, Salary Plus, Sodexo Glow, Sodexo Engage or Sodexo Cycle-to-Work. So if you have any kind of employee benefits scheme operated by Sodexo, we can probably accept your Cycle Plus cycle to work voucher.

You can use your Cycle Plus voucher on bikes from the world’s best brands, including Trek, Specialized, Whyte, Cannondale, GT and Raleigh. You can also select safety equipment, including helmets, lights and locks, to go with your bike.

Sodexo Cycle Plus charge us a fee to be able to accept their cycle 2 work vouchers. As their price is much higher than most other cycle to work providers, we, unfortunately, have to charge a little extra. On all non-electric bikes, there is a 5% surcharge payable. On Specialized and Whyte electric bikes, there is a 15% surcharge payable.

Sodexo Cycle to Work can be used on sale bikes but may be subject to a surcharge of up to 10%. Email info@cyclesuk.com or contact your local store for details.

How to pay with a Sodexo Cycle Plus letter of Collection

With Sodexo’s Cycle Plus scheme, you will typically need to decide how much you want to spend and then apply for a voucher for that amount. Most people will visit one of our stores or look on our site to decide what they want first. Remember that if you apply for £1200, you will still re-pay £1200 even if your bike only costs £900, so it’s worth making sure you use it for the correct amount. If you visit us in-store, we can also make sure you are getting the right size bike and that any accessories you are buying will fit.

You will generally apply for the cycle-to-work scheme through the Cycle Plus/Salary Plus portal (again, this uses a few different names). Once the amount you want is approved, you will get a Letter of Collection, which will have the amount.

When you have your Letter of Collection, bring it to one of our shops with your ID, and we can give you the bike. If you want the bike delivered, just email a copy or picture of your Letter of Collection to info@cyclesuk.com.

Although it sounds a bit fiddly, the process is relatively quick and easy, and as you only apply for an amount rather than a specific bike, you have quite a bit of freedom over what you buy.

If you have any questions about using the Cycle Plus scheme, just give us a call on 01268 745556 or email info@cyclesuk.com
