Cycle to Work – Cycle Plus and Sodexo Employee Benefits

Cycle 2 Work Page Header

Cycles UK accept Sodexo Cycle Plus Scheme vouchers in our stores and online. The Cycle Plus scheme is part of the Sodexo Employee Benefits program which is used by lots of companies, local councils and other organisations. The scheme uses quite a few different names but is commonly known as Cycle Plus, Salary Plus, Sodexo Glow, Sodexo Engage or Sodexo Cycle-to-Work. So if you have any kind of employee benefits scheme operated by Sodexo we can probably accept your Cycle Plus cycle to work voucher.

You can use your Cycle Plus voucher on bikes from the world’s best brands including Trek, Specialized, Whyte, Cannondale, GT and Raleigh. You can also select safety equipment including helmets, lights and locks to go with your bike.

Sodexo Cycle Plus charge us a fee in order to be able to accept their cycle 2 work vouchers. As their fee is much higher than most other cycle to work providers we do, unfortunately, have to charge a little extra. On all non-electric bikes there is a 5% surcharge payable. On Specialized and Whyte electric bikes there is a 15% surcharge payable.

How to pay with a Sodexo Cycle Plus letter of Collection

With Sodexo’s Cycle Plus scheme you will normally need to decide how much you want to spend and then apply for a voucher for that amount. Most people will visit one of our stores, or have a look on our site to decide what they want first. Remember that if you apply for a £1200 you will still re-pay £1200 even if your bike only costs £900, so it’s worth making sure you apply for the correct amount. If you visit us in-store we can also make sure you are getting the right size bike and that any accessories you are buying will fit.

You will normally apply for the cycle-to-work scheme through the Cycle Plus/Salary Plus portal (again this uses a few different names). Once the amount you want is approved you will get a Letter of Collection which will have the amount on it.

When you have your Letter of Collection bring it to one of our shops with your ID and we can give you the bike. If you want to have the bike delivered then just email a copy, or picture, of your Letter of Collection to

Although it sounds a bit fiddly the process is actually fairly quick and easy and as you only apply for an amount rather than a specific bike you have quite a bit of freedom over what you buy.
