Bontrager have launched a new version of their AW3 (All Weather 3) road tyres which have a 78% improvement in puncture protection. In independent tests Bontrager claim that they outperform well known winter tyres including Specialized Armadillo tyres and Continental Gatorskins to give best-in class performance.
There are a couple of versions of the AW3. The Hard-Case tyre goes for ultimate puncture protection with extra strength in the sidewalls, making them ideal for commuters. The Hard-Case Lite version aims to balance puncture protection with performance making it a better option for road riders who want to go fast on their winter training rides. All versions of the new AW3 are available in 700 x 25, 700 x 28, 700 x 32 and 700 x 38, reflecting the current trend for wider tyres on road bikes.

The new AW3 also features the all-new proprietary TR-Endure compound that gives longer-lasting performance, and an updated tread pattern that delivers confident all-weather traction. Simply put, the AW3 is ready to handle anything and everything a road throws at it, even on wet and dirty UK country lanes.
AW3 is now your go to all-weather performance that prioritise puncture protection. AW3 is replacing both the AW2 and the prior AW3. The all-new AW3 is available in both Hard-Case and Hard-Case Lite options.
