Cycling is more popular than ever so chances are you will need to buy a present for someone who loves riding a bike. We’ve rounded up some easy ideas for you to pick from:

Electra Bells - £9 to £15

We sell loads of the Electra Bells all year round but they are especially popular in the run up to Christmas. As well as making a very satisfying sound they come in loads of different designs featuring everything from Cosmic Gnomes to Noodles, Chickens, Cats and Camper vans. The Unicorn bell is our all-time best seller.

The World’s Safest Helmets - £45 to £100

Virginia Tech University do a ranking every year of the safest cycling helmets in the world. For 2021 the Specialized Mode (£100) was ranked as the safest urban helmet and the Specialized Tactic 4 (£100) the safest mountain bike helmet. The Specialized Align II MIPS (£45) was in the top 5 for urban, road and mountain bike so is a great all-round choice. A perfect gift for someone you love.

Specialized ANGi Crash Sensor - £45

The ANGi sensor is a small device which can be attached to most helmets. It can detect when someone has had a crash, or are late back from a ride, and text their location to their selected contacts. It can also be used to record rides which can then be uploaded to fitness tracking apps like Strava.

Garmin Edge 530 GPS Cycle Computer - £259.99

If you know a cyclist who loves their gadgets then the Garmin range of GPS devices is the way to go. Not only do they feature real time maps and directions like your car GPS they can also record rides, manage workouts, evaluate training loads and suggest new routes.

Camelbak Podium Bottles £9 to £18

Most cyclists carry a water bottle and most cyclist’s water bottles turn manky and need replacing after a few years. The Camelbak Podium bottles are the best on the market and are all BPA free so they have a nice clean taste. They’re available in a range of colours and there are insulated versions to keep drinks cold in the summer.

Bontrager Bat Cage - £10.99

If you are going to have a water bottle you will need a bottle cage. The Bontrager Bat cage is made from recycled fishing nets so it helps keep harmful plastics out of the Ocean. Fishing nets account for an estimated 10% of plastic in the ocean and are 4x more damaging than other plastics.

SpeciSpecialized Neoshell Windproof Thermal Gloves - £42

Hands are one of the first things to get cold when riding in winter. Having a windproof glove is half of the battle as this will keep most of the chill off. Having a thermal windproof glove will definitely keep hands toasty. The Specialized Neoshell gloves are available in black or hi-viz and in men’s and women’s versions.

Bontrager Track Pumps - £25 to £45

A track pump is a super useful bit of kit which all cyclists should have. Designed to be kept at home they make checking tyre pressures before a ride a breeze and make short work of repairing punctures or changing to new tyres. Any cyclist who doesn’t have one needs one. Bontrager do two of the best track pumps. The Charger is their basic entry level model which works for pretty much all bikes and their Dual Charger allows you to switch between different modes which work better on road and mountain bikes.

Moon Meteor X Pro and Comet X Light Set - £59.99

We recently asked our store staff to pick their favourite winter kit and this was the most commonly recommended light set. Tim from our Canterbury store said "I use these lights on my Orbea Terra gravel bike. They're bright enough to be seen in the middle of January in the rain whilst on my commute to and from work with no street lights." So a perfect gift for anyone with a dark winter commute.

Altura Nevis Cycling Jacket - £65

Altura Nevis Nightvision Mens Jacket in Yellow

Another top recommendation from our staff, the Nevis jacket is breathable and waterproof. It’s ideal for short commutes and leisure rides. It comes in a range of colours including the best-selling hi-viz yellow.

Pedros Tyre Levers - £4.49

Tyre levers are one of those things that always goes missing when you need them so it pays to have a few pairs around, and if they are bright yellow they are easier to find. Claimed to be the strongest tyre levers available these award winning tools are covered by a lifetime guarantee so if they ever break Pedros will replace them.
