What Choices do you get?

While a lot of the other customisation programs are focused on colour schemes the Riese & Muller customisation process is focused on parts and accessories. On a typical bike, there will be 2 or 3 colours to choose from and the electric motor will be fixed for that model. You can then normally pick to change the type of gearing from standard derailleur gears to an internal hub gear. Once that base bike has been selected you can then select the following:

  • Type of display unit for the electric system
  • Size and number of batteries
  • Types of luggage racks (front and rear) or choice of cargo boxes and seats
  • Locks

Depending on the choices you make there will normally be some extra charges which range from as low as £40 up to a couple of hundred for some of the batteries and some display units.
