Founded in 1997 by Jochim Aerts. Ridley is a brand of product innovation. What started as a small company quickly turned into a success. The brand soon became Belgium's largest bicycle manufacturer.
Ridley's first innovative development was the conical headset. Introduced in 2001, the conical headset quickly became the standard in the bike industry. Proving they are not a one-hit-wonder, Ridley has made considerable innovations over the years. Notably in improving weight and strength in both carbon and aluminium bike frames. What is Elite Carbon?

Ridley uses carbon mixes based on the purpose of the bike. Providing strength and flexibility where needed and saving weight where it's not. Ridley sources carbon from Toray. Toray is a Japanese producer that leads in every facet of carbon evolution.

What is Hydro Tubing?

Ranked very high in terms of weight, welding accuracy, and hardness. T6 aluminium is used by the aerospace industry and on Ridley's aluminium bikes. Ridley uses high-quality T6 aluminium and triple butts its tubes. Triple butting is where the thickness of the tube middle is three times thinner than it is at the end. As a result, they minimize weight while still maximizing sturdiness.
