The 2021 Whyte E-150 S 29er V2 Electric Mountain Bike in Matt Burnt Orange is a rider-focussed, do-it-all trailbike that packs more punch into every ride. This 29” wheel eMTB is built to take on serious singletrack trail adventures, unlocking comfortable speed, mileage and efficiency. With Whyte’s hallmark super-agile handling and sorted suspension the riding won’t just be fast - it’ll be fun too.
The ultra-low centre of gravity means outstanding handling, balance and control. A complete eSystem from Bosch means reliability and unbeatable backup. The “slide in” battery fitment means maximum structural integrity for minimum weight and torsional rigidity.
The high-torque 85Nm Bosch Performance Line CX motor is super-compact with exceptionally smooth power delivery which simulates normal pedalling, and range anxiety shouldn’t be an issue with a powerful 625Wh battery as standard.
The E-150 S comes with 150mm travel RockShox ZEB forks and a RockShox Deluxe Select + RT rear shock. 12 speed SRAM Eagle gearing and SRAM Guide RE 4 piston brakes give you plenty of options for getting up hills and make sure you can stop on a dime.

Electric Bike Hub Motors vs Mid-Drive Motors
Electric bikes tend to either come with a hub motor or a mid-drive motor. Mid-drive motors sit where the cranks and bottom bracket are on a bike and drive the cranks and chain around. Hub drive motors sit in the middle of the wheel and drive the wheel directly. Hub drive electric bikes are cheaper but less efficient, and less smooth, to ride.
