The 2021 GT Avalanche Sport Hardtail Mountain Bike in Blue is the entry level bike in the GT Avalanche range. It’s designed as a wallet friendly model that still have the equipment you need to ride off-road confidently.
The Avalanche Sport is built around a completely redesigned aluminium frame which has new floating seat stays for extra comfort and compliance and internal cable routing to give the bike a sleek and clean look. The ride is designed to feed you the confidence to progress your singletrack skills on climbs, descents and all the straightaways you can handle. All sizes come with 29” wheels except the Xsmall which comes with 27.5” wheels.
The aluminium frame is dropper post-compatible and comes with 2x9 speed Microshift gearing and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. The SR Suntour XCT-DS suspension fork comes with 100mm of travel and a lockout.
