The 2021 Trek FX Sport Carbon 4 Hybrid Bike in Dark Aquatic is a carbon fibre fitness bike for riders who want the speed of a lightweight road bike with the comfort and control of a flat handlebar. An IsoSpeed decoupler smooths out rough roads and the 1x11 drive train simplifies shifting without sacrificing gear range, making this high-performance bike perfect for everything from solo workouts to speedy group rides.

The FX Sport Carbon 4 Carbon is built around a lightweight OCLV Carbon frame which not only makes the bike really light but also helps to soak up vibration from the roads and gives you amazing power transfer so you get the best out of every pedal stroke. The IsoSpeed decoupler soaks up even more bumps so you will be comfortable even on rough roads and cycle paths.

A Shimano GRX 1x11 drive train with a wide-range cassette is designed for gravel bikes so give you plenty of speed but also enough range to get up really steep hills. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes for all-weather stopping power and a lightweight tubeless ready wheel set complete a high end build. Plus, it's easy to accessorise with mudguards, lights and more!

This bike is perfect for

Riders who want the speed and lightness of a road bike with the more comfortable upright riding position of a hybrid. 1x gearing and hydraulic brakes make this a versatile bike that can be used every day.

Why buy a hybrid bike?

Hybrids are the bikes that most people should have. If you want a bike for commuting, going to the shops, getting fit or just for getting around a hybrid is generally the best choice. They combine the speed of a road racing bike with the confident handling of a mountain bike to give you the best of both worlds.

Where are you going to ride?

The first point to think about when picking a hybrid is the kind of surfaces you will be riding on. There are two main flavours of hybrid bike. Some, like the Trek FX, Specialized Sirrus and Cannondale Quick are mainly intended for use on the road. They have bigger gears and skinnier tyres so that they are fast on tarmac. Other bikes like the Trek Dual Sport, Specialized Sirrus X or Cannondale Quick CX are designed to be used on a mixture of surfaces including tracks and gravel paths. They have bigger, grippier tyres and often come with easier gears and some suspension to soak up bumps.
