2021 Cannondale Topstone Neo Lefty Carbon 3 electric Gravel bike in Grey is the gravel bike to beat all gravel bikes. The Neo Lefty 3 is an electric gravel bike with power assistance from Bosch's latest integrated battery and motor system, the most advanced electric-assist units in the world. A mid-motor drive unit for balanced weight, giving you a natural feeling ride with excellent handling. Drive units provide incredible torque and power for effortlessly climb hills and easily change gear. The huge 500 Wh battery keeps you going faster and further.The durable, reliable Bosch Performance Line CX 250W drive unit and powerful integrated Bosch PowerTube 500Wh battery give you the speed you need, with the juice to go the distance. The Neo Lefty 3 also features Shimano SLX, 11-42, 11-speed cassette, Shimano GRX 812, Shadow Plus Rear Derailleur, Shimano GRX 600, 1x11 shifters, Shimano GRX hydraulic disc, 160mm hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano GRX brake levers.

The Dialed Endurance Fit offers a balanced riding position upright enough for comfort during long rides and maintaining control when tackling technical terrain, yet low and forward enough for speed efficiency. Internal cable routing makes it easy to add a dropper post which adds even more off-road perks that you don't see on every gravel bike. Electric Bike Hub Motors vs Mid-Drive Motors
Electric bikes tend to either come with a hub motor or a mid-drive motor. Mid-drive motors sit where the cranks and bottom bracket are on a bike and drive the cranks and chain around. Hub drive motors sit in the middle of the wheel and drive the wheel directly. Hub drive electric bikes are cheaper but less efficient, and less smooth, to ride.
