Cycles UK provides 14 days of free insurance on all new bikes sold to UK customers. As part of our service, your new bike is automatically covered with 14 days’ FREE insurance against theft and accidental damage.
Our 14 days’ FREE cover, provided by our partner Assetsure and underwritten at Lloyd’s of London, is designed to provide you with adequate time to check your home and contents insurance to make sure the cover meets your needs.
Many home insurance policies have restrictions and limitations which mean that your bike may not be fully covered. We want you to take your time and make sure your cycle is covered on the correct basis. In research compiled by GoCompare, the insurance comparison site, it was discovered that nearly a third of home insurance policies only offered cycle insurance as an optional extra. It was also noted that 42% of policies had a maximum payout of £500*.
