GT was founded in 1979 by Gary Turner and is still one of the big names in the cycling industry today. Many of the names in the GT mountain bike range have been around since the beginnings of the sport and older mountain bikers will know names like the Zaskar and Karakoram. GT Bicycles don't just trade off their heritage though, they continue to make cutting-edge bikes with regular updates to their range to reflect the latest trends in technology and the mountain bike scene. GT continues to impress with their trusted Aggressor and Avalanche models that are well suited to the beginner or intermediate rider alike.

GT have launched two new full suspension bikes based around a brand new platform. The new GT Force is a 27.5” wheel 150mm/160mm travel bike that could do duties as a trail or enduro bike. The GT Sensor runs 29” wheels and 130mm of travel and can do cross country or trail, or enduro riding. Part of the reason these bikes are so hard to classify is that they both come fitted with a ‘flip chip’ that lets you adjust the head angle and bottom bracket height with a simple allen key. Tweaking the Sensor with the flip chip will change it from a mile eating cross country machine into a slacker trail/enduro setup. The flip chip on the Force moves it from a trail bike to a full enduro or big mountain machine.

You Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that, as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up and get it sent out to you - it often never even hits the stock room shelves!

With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.

So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.
