Cannondale have just announced significant price drops on their 2018 Trigger and Jekyll full suspension mountain bikes. Cannondale have dropped the prices on these bikes by between £500 and £1000. So these are the type of discounts we would normally only expect to see at the end of the year.
The price changes are:
These new prices are now live on our website and the bikes are available to order. The Trigger 3 in particular is now a real bargain. This is a carbon framed 150mm travel full suspension bike that comes with a Fox Float front and rear shocks, a dropper seatpost, Shimano SLX brakes and a mixed Shimano XT and SLX groupset. All of that for under £3k.
About the Cannondale Jekyll and Trigger
Cannondale class the Trigger as an ‘All Mountain Bike’. It is designed to go up and down big mountains with 150mm of travel to soak up the bumps. This puts it in a similar category to the Specialized Stumpjumper, the Whyte S-150 and the Trek Remedy. Like those bikes the Trigger is a capable bike for those who want to tackle tough trails whether they are going uphill, downhill or flat. If you are going to be spending a lot of time riding in Wales and Scotland, or have big trips to the alps planned then the Trigger is a great option.
The Cannondale Jekyll is classed as an Enduro bike and is more suitable for those whose interests lie in going downhill fast. The Jekyll will still climb and will get you to the top of the downhills pretty efficiently, but it is the downhills where the Jekyll really performs. It is a similar bike to the Whyte G-170, the Specialized Enduro or the Trek Slash. Cannondale have designed the Jekyll for Enduro racing and it is the bike used by their pro enduro team.
