Intended Use:

Fast riding on tarmac. Good for general fitness and training these bikes are also popular for sportives, charity challenges and fast commuting.

What to look for:

Carbon fibre forks and frames reduce weight and road vibration making the bike more comfortable to ride. Higher end bikes tend not to come with the fitting for mudguards and racks and to only allow the narrowest of tyres.
